I recently noticed that VULTR does have HDD powered block storage and was wondering what other companies have a similar price (or maybe less)
Yes, I am aware that HDD is slower than NVMe but the price is great and my use case could work on that scenario
I don't watch that market, but I do watch the Storage VPS market at least casually.
If that interests you, AlphaVPS.com and SmokyHosts.com are two that I can recommend based on recent use.
AlphaVPS is 15 Euros/year for 128GB but the RAM size of 512 MB limits your choice of operating systems.
Smoky starts at 1TB for $5.95/month.
SecureDragon.net has some interesting plans though I have not used them in 5 or more years, but they were great back then.
Haven't look lately, but hetzner.com and wishosting.com offer storage VPS and such, and are companies I've dealt with in the past, briefly, but no complaints.
time4vps.com is a little slow on offering current operating systems on their storage VPS plans, and has increased their regular prices (half price for first term, though) since I last used them more than 5 years ago, but they are really reliable and have excellent support.
Digital Ocean Spaces offer $5 for 250 GB and then $0.02/GB iirc.
I've used them before and they work really well. Can recommend!

Backblaze B2, or DigitalOcean’s block storage. They often have competitive pricing and could fit your budget.
I have used B2 since it was first introduced and I am not aware of any block storage being sold by them, only object storage.Quote:
