Thread: SmartServerManagement closing ): looking for new server management

I just received an email stated that SmartServerManagement or pc smart hosting as you all know closing their server management team, im so sad!
they helped me over the year so much even in complex issues.

the email i got -
it is with a very heavy heart that I've got to inform you we're no longer able to provide our management services.

We started SmartServerManagement as an extension to our own hosting business in 2010, and are immensely proud of our team and all those we have helped be successful over the last 13 years.

Unfortunately due to ever-increasing costs and key members of our team moving on to new opportunities, we have taken the difficult decision to close this part of our business.

I'm so sad to see it...

I'm looking for new server management to our cPanel servers, any ideas recommendations?

I used them in the past when Chris Eliot worked there. Support was excellent. I think Chris left some years ago and it is now run by Jason.

I guess they want to focus on their own web hosting business, which is fair enough.

I guess, it's so sad, never had a bad word about them, always extremely fast responses, extremely helpful even with complex issues and not giving up.
I really did not mind some price hike or anything i would understand it.

do you use any services for server management ? sadly i'm looking for new one.

They were a great outfit.

Jason and his team excelled at what they did.

The team at AdminGeekz are a very professional team if you have a larger budget.

I am looking at them now, they can be really expensive. I wonder if they are willing to work something out for us smaller guys. Maybe we need to get a few people together and just group buy one of their packages lol

Exactly the same. Everything but PlatinumServerManagement.

I was on the $45 dollar Proactive Monthly Management plan as of last week. But as I have less problems today with my server, reactive might be the way to go for me.

It's a bit unclear if they contact data center if the server goes down, which I require.

They've been one of the old counter players in the industry, sad to hear that about them.

It gets no better than them. They are more expensive than the others you listed, but there's good reason for that

was also thinking about Jonesolutions any long term reviews about their server management?

I had used jonesolutions before but honestly dont remember why I left them. Any idea the monthly cost for admingeekz?

i have managed to see some thread they said 300 usd first server 150 usd every addiotonial server monthly, a bit pricey.

Ouch, so they are off the table for me

Personally I don't need any "holding hand" admin, just server monitoring, help with complex stuff and server migration.

Same, but its nice just sending in a ticket asking them to handle X for you

Anyone receiving spam on Smartservermanagement account email? We are receiving few and claiming they were provider of white label support to them

You will find a lot of those services are whitelabelled through ServerAdminz/Hashroot. They look to be the biggest one around. If you go direct the price is higher, but some of the ones who resell their services can offer lower pricing.
