Thread: Can you recommend a hosting company based on their support or functionality?

Hi Guys,
I currently use WP Engine for hosting but finding their support has gone off the boil recently. Appreciate website speed / loading etc could be a ranking factor and so with this in mind is their any dedicated WP hosting folk that you have used whereby they have categorically improved SEO by page load speeds etc. or if not can you recommend a hosting company based on their support or functionality.

What sort of support do you typically find yourself needing from WP Engine?

I'm just curious because generally speaking, once a lot of WordPress sites are up and running, customers generally don't contact their host unless there's something very much out of their control (i.e. the server/platform is offline).

Yes, I mentioned that I'm aiming for the best speed, and despite not including many images or videos on my pages, I'm not getting good test results. It's disappointing.

I hope this has nothing to do with the WP conflicts.

Website speed will depend on the location, network, or server specs.

I assumed you contacted their support already without a resolution yet?

Where is your current hosting located?
Also how many unique visitors do you get to the site each month?
Also what is your monthly and annual budget for web hosting?
Also do you have a budget for web development,? while some issues can be fixed with plugins, most can't it takes an understanding of the underlying code to really fix some website issues.
