Edgio(often known as Limelight, Edgecast, Verizon) bankrupt and Akamai buys assets
Edgio(often known as Limelight, Edgecast, Verizon CDN) which was listed on Nasdaq a few months back went bankrupt, and Akamai bought their contracts.

Last year Lumen and StackPath also quit the CDN business, and also sold their contracts to Akamai.
It seems financials for many CDNs are bleak, including Brightcove and Fastly if you look up their financials.
