Globalinx, a prominent carrier-neutral cable landing station operator, is making major progress in Virginia Beach. Its Sandbridge Beach facility is at the heart of the plan, which would strengthen its position as a gateway for global data traffic.

Four additional subsea cable-ready bore pipes will be installed as part of the project, increasing the facility's total to eight. The beach manholes and Globalinx's 11-acre facility are connected by a six-mile front-haul conduit system that includes these pipes. The three subsea cables already in use at the neighboring Telxius Cable Landing Station (CLS), which connects to*Globalinx's Meet-Me Room (MMR), will be supplemented by this increased infrastructure when it is finished by March 31.

With direct access to the MAREA, BRUSA, and Dunant undersea cables,*Globalinx's Virginia Beach facility is in a unique position to link the East Coast of the United States with Europe, South America, and beyond. Its carrier-neutral architecture and robust infrastructure would provide seamless integration between subsea and terrestrial fiber networks, enabling a wide range of businesses and digital services.
