    Exclamation Name.com Titan.Email Hosting

I am having a hell of a time with name.com and their Titan.Email.

I havent logged on WHT in so many years but this problem is so bad that I had to come on here and talk about it and cross my fingers for resolution.

I signed up for a trial. The day the trial was to expire I tried to renew to a monthly plan. I couldn't figure out how to do it so I submitted a helpdesk ticket. They told me I had to pay a yearly plan and then I could switch to monthly the next month. Made no sense because you can literally signup for a monthly plan from the start without even going to the trial.

I've sense paid for a monthly plan. I've signed up additionally for another trial plan but you see--when you go into name.com and login to manage this service and try and pay for anything -- it goes through the checkout process. But it creates a whole new account that you have to go through a setup process. I've literally been begging them to restore my email service -- im losing important emails. I've asked them to do what ever they can to get my service restored. But only one person has seemed to offer to create the account from scatch but I dont want to lose my emails. He has suggested I can migrate them afterwards but I have no idea how to do that.

I'm screaming inside my head. Has anyone else had a bad experience with titan.email? I wish I could get someone with some from their ticket support system that can just fix my account since I've paid on it and restore it.

Ticket #2762226 if anyone from name.com is on here.

Is the first account still active? If so you can use imapsync to migrate your emails.

Nice that he's finally self-hosting a copy of it, kind of lame it's limited to 3GB unless you pay $.

I guess it makes sense though - using his tool does use his bandwidth/resources.

You can always grab it from github and use it in command line: https://github.com/imapsync/imapsync .
